Mildred Betty Rutledge Williams

Asheville - Mildred Betty Rutledge Williams, 79, of 650 Caribou Rd., Apt. 107 died Wednesday, November 26, 2003 in Tulare, California. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Will and Della Harrrison Rutledge and was the wife of the late Herbert Eugene Williams. She was also preceded in death by a son, Raymond Larry Williams. Surviving are her daughters, Janice Betty Pace of Tulare, CA, Phyllis Owen and husband Michael of Pisgah Forest, and Donna Gosney and husband Leo of New London; sons, Ronald Eugene Williams of Asheville; David C. Williams and wife Floria of Asheville, Michael Dale Williams of Bessemer City; Wendall James Williams of Asheville, and Donald Ray Williams of Asheville; sister, Helen McElrearh of Enka; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene King officiating. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 PM Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
