Merita Hill Mcmahan

West Asheville - Merita Dorothy Hill McMahan, 75, died Sunday July 10, 2005 at her home following an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Eugene Lamar and Eva Louise Buckner Hill. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Surviving are her daughters, Mary M. Crosby of Asheville and Donna McMahan Wells and husband David of Morganton and grandchildren, Brian McMahan of Enka, Gene and Amy Crosby of West Asheville and Lauren and Lindsay Wells of Morganton. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Butch Stillwell officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the funeral home.
