Mary Hensley

Candler Mary Louise Warren Hensley, 79, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she attended Good News Baptist Church and was a member of White Rock Baptist Church, and was the daughter of the late Bryan Lee Warren and Annie Mae Hall Warren. She was the wife of Lon Eugene Hensley who died April 5, 2014 and was also preceded in death by her brothers, Paul and Glen Warren and sister, Martha Hilton. Surviving are her son, Lonnie Hensley and wife Jamie of Candler; daughter, Pamela Topping; grandchildren, Caitlin Best and husband Jeremy, Corey Hensley and Andrea Burrell; brother, Bobby Warren and wife Mya of Candler and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Steve Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 PM Thursday at the Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
