Martha Louise Fulghum

Hendersonville - Martha Louise Todd Fulghum, 89, formerly of 21 Ridge Road, Asheville, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2007 at Beverly Health Care Center in Hendersonville following a period of declining health. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she retired from Reynolds High School as the Cafeteria Manager. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Hoyt Fulghum, and her son, Jerry Fulghum. Surviving are her daughters: Norma Schultz of Hendersonville, Teressa Jackson of Hallsboro, NC, and Phyllis Fulghum of Newton, NC; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters: Lola Powers and Lillian Taylor, both of Oakley. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Sunday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Oakley. The family will receive friends from 4-5 PM Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
