Martha L. Cauble

Candler Martha Ellen Lunsford Cauble passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Friday, June 6, 2008 surrounded by her loved ones. A native of Buncombe County. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Elsie Rathbone Lunsford. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jack D. Nanney, Jr. and a brother, William Lunsford. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Rhodes of Asheville and Cheryl Gallop of Willis, MI; two sons, Daryl Nanney of Weaverville and Donald Anderson of Ruffin, SC; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three sisters, Louise Freeman of Belleville, MI, her twin sister, Mary Beck of Thomasville and Dorothy Banks of Weaverville. A private memorial service will be held 5 PM Saturday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Pittman officiating.
