Marie Mills

Asheville Marie Willie Price Mills, 88, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the Golden Living Center. A native of Haywood County, she had resided in Buncombe County most of her life and was a member of Aaron Baptist Church. Mrs. Mills was the daughter of the late Weaver Voyd Price and Minnie Legra Gaddy Price and wife of William Ernest Mills, Sr. who died January 9, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Pritchard and sisters, Ruth Lipe and Lois Capps. Surviving are her daughter, Marie Metcalf Moore and husband Tom of Spartanburg, SC; son, Billy Mills and wife Debbie of Asheville; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday, September 29, 2013 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Ingle and her grandson, Rev. Jason Mills officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
