Marie Meadows Wells

Leicester Eunice Marie Meadows Wells, 79, of 300 Meadows Town Road, passed away Monday, July 30, 2007 at Magnolia Health Care Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Eddie Levi and Emmagene Teague Meadows and the widow of Zeb W. Wells, who passed away in 1976. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her sisters: Ada Meadows of Leicester, and Glennia C. Lyday of Pisgah Forest; and brothers: John T. Meadows of Asheville and Harry O. Meadows of Leicester. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ed Worley officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Care Partners Health Services, especially Debbie Ward, Pamela Brown, the Chaplain and the Music Therapist. They would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Magnolia Health Care Center. She loved you all.
