Mariah Lance

West Asheville Mariah Danielle Lance, 18, of Eva Circle, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012 following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mariah was the daughter of Randy Dale Lance of Asheville and Tammy Louise Wright Lance and companion Chris Hallum, of the home. In addition to her parents surviving are her companion, Jenny Nicole West, of the home; sister, Miranda Nicole Lance and brother-in-law, Hunter, of Asheville; niece, Maddilyn Nicole Hunter; maternal grandparents: Chris and Rita Lunsford of Asheville; paternal grandparents: James Lance of Tennessee and Charlene Lance of Fairview; and several uncles and aunts, including her uncle Heath Wright and his companion, Mary Peebles, as well as numerous cousins, best friend pet, Kush-Girl and her special West Asheville friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday at Green Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. Steve Brockwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 PM Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
