Mae Monroe

Asheville Mae Belle Monroe, 101, went to be with her Lord on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Asheville Nursing and Rehab Center. A native of Buncombe County. She was a homemaker and the daughter of the late William James and Lucinda King Cassada. She was also preceded in death by her son, Tommy Monroe and daughter, Jancie Daily. Surviving are her two daughters, Judith Morgan and Jeannie Isaacs both of Asheville; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and one brother, Lyle Casada of Leicester. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with her grandson, Mr. Bart Austin officiating. Burial will be in Highland Baptist Church Cemetery in Leicester. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Monday at the funeral home.
