Mabel Banks Reece

Asheville - Mabel Morrow Banks Reece, 85, died Saturday March 5, 2011. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a member of Richland Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late John F. and Ida Duckett Morrow and the wife of the late Neal Banks and James Reece. Surviving are her daughters, Joan Caldwell (Allen) of Lenoir and Deborah Greer (Neil) of Hendersonville; son, Lenn "Sonny" Banks of Asheville; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Gassaway officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour before services at the funeral home.
