Lynda Bishop

West Asheville Lynda Jean Bishop, 59, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Allen Benjamin Bishop and Ruby Jean Joyner Bishop. Surviving are her sister, Marian McTier of Nashville, GA; brothers, Gary C. Bishop (Kathy) of Huntington, IN, Charles E. Bishop (Wanda) of East Flat Rock and Alvin E. Bishop of Asheville and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Friday, January 25, 2019 at Green Hills Cemetery with Rev. Daryl Overton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
