Lucille Hensley Huntsinger

Lucille Hensley Huntsinger, 70, entered into her eternal life early in the morning on April 18, 2018 at the Angel House Family Care Home. A native of Madison County, she had resided in Henderson and Buncombe Counties for most of her life. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and was very loving and caring towards others, always putting their needs ahead of her own. Mrs. Huntsinger was the daughter of the late Oliver Hensley and Ellen Banks Hensley and wife of the late Robert Lee Huntsinger. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Glen Hensley; and sisters: Dicie Whitaker, and Zula Franklin. Surviving are her daughter, Kimberly Annette Huntsinger Martin (Robert Whisnant) of Fletcher; granddaughter and her Little Angel, Cassie Leigh Martin of Fletcher; sister-in-law, Carol Diana Brow of Mills River; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Saturday, April 21, 2018 at New Salem Cemetery in Skyland, with Rev. Don Hare officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:15 PM at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. The family will travel to New Salem Cemetery together following the visitation.
