Louise Thomas Boone

Asheville Louise Thomas Boone, of 15 Snelson Drive, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Madison County, she had resided in Buncombe County since 1966. Mrs. Boone was the daughter of the late Bessie Gentry Lloyd and wife of the late Rev. Archie Thomas who died in 1985 and Jack Boone who died in 2010. She was also preceded in death by her son, Granville Thomas. Surviving are her daughters, Jean Middleton and husband John and Patsy King (Ralph); eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; brother, Fieldon Gentry and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, December 8, 2013 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
