Louise Masters Gaddy

Alexander Louise Masters Gaddy, 79, of Alexander, NC, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lee Roy Gaddy; children: Rev. Dan Gaddy and wife Susan of Summerfield, NC, David Gaddy and wife Marie of Asheville, and Rev. Debra Gaddy of Hendersonville; grandchildren: Jeremiah, Jessica and fianc Steven Carter, and Alison Gaddy; sister, Arlee Banks; and a loving extended family. Louise was a lifetime member of Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for more than 50 years, and an active member of the Emmaus community. She retired from Sears in 1994. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday at Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church, 171 Beaverdam Road, with the Rev. Lisa Hartzog-Hannah, Rev. Debra Gaddy, and Rev. Dan Gaddy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, with David Gaddy, Jeremiah Gaddy, Eric Gaddy, Bill Beck, Jim Banks, Laddie Masters, David Pless, and Steven Carter serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
