Louella Turner

Asheville - Louella Jackson Turner, 86, passed away Thursday June 11, 2009 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Jackson County, she had lived most of her life in Buncombe County. She was a member of the First Church of God. She was a daughter of the late Walter and Ila Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Carroll Lee Crawford; sister, Edith Beeler and brother, Bill Jackson. Surviving are her husband, Coleman Lee Bill Turner of the home; sister, Hazel Edwards and husband Roy of Webster; brothers, Bobby Jackson of Charlotte and Griffin Jackson and wife Helga of Auburn, WA and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Dedrick Clark officiating. Interment will be in Lewis Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to: Care Partners Hospice, P.O.
