Loretta "Lib" Mcclure

Candler - Loretta Elizabeth Lib McClure, 80, died Tuesday June 20, 2006 at the Hominy Valley Retirement Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a member of Aaron Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late James Burgin and Mary Loretta Barclay Robinson and the wife of the late Lloyd Tommie McClure. Surviving are her step daughters, Joyce Smith of Candler and Doris Metcalf of Lancaster, SC.; step son, A. J. McClure of Wilmington; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in Luada Cemetery in Bryson City. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home
