Linda Rae Apple Hobson

Asheville – Linda Rae Apple Hobson, 67, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Mission Hospital.

She was a native of Paoli, IN, she was a homemaker, loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was a daughter of the late Raymond Russell Apple and Freda Marie Moore Apple. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Paul Hobson who passed away April 24, 2018.

Surviving are her children: Kimberly Apple, Jeremy Trotter (Rachel), and Chris Hobson (Ashley); grandchildren: Austin Apple, Emily Strickland, Katlyn Crow, Justin Trotter, Carleigh Trotter, Christopher Hobson, and Charlie Hobson; step daughter, Amanda Diane Hobson-Stewart and husband Travis; grandchildren: Christopher Hobson, and Christian Thomas siblings: Paul Raymond Apple, Rosie Babcock, Brenda North, Sharon Cross, and Johnny Bill Underhill; many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dogs, Boo Boo, Cowboy, Jake, Levi, and Casey.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 18, 2024, in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Tim Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.

The family will receive friends from 10 till 11 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
