Linda Kay Wyatt

Asheville - Linda Kay Gentry Wyatt, 55, went home to be with the Lord Friday November 18, 2005 at her home after an extended illness. A native of Madison County, she had resided in Buncombe County since 1964. She was a daughter of Demania Lee Tweed Gentry of Marshall and was preceded in death by her Daddy Dewey Gentry. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Charles Woods of the home; son, Lane Wyatt and wife Kathy of Asheville; daughter, Tonya Roberts and husband Jeryl of Leicester; stepsons, Robert Woods of Black Mt. and Jeremy Woods of Leicester; sisters, Carol Gunter of Madison County and Brenda Goforth of Asheville; grandchildren, Kristianna Wyatt, Trenton Roberts, Dalton Wyatt and Blaine Roberts and 5 step grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Middle Laurel Church of God with the Revs. John Honeycutt and Keith Gosnell officiating. Burial will be in the Cutshaw Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
