Leslie Robinson

Asheville - Leslie Hoke Robinson, 96, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Emerald Ridge Health Care Center. A native of Buncombe County, Mrs. Robinson was a member of Elk Mountain Baptist Church, as well as the Woodfin Golden Age Club. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Bessie Hoke, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Luther Luke Ellis Robinson, who passed in 2003. Surviving are her brother, William Alfred Hoke; nieces: Kim Warner (Ernie) and Debbie Penley (Jimmy); nephews: Charles Miller, Charlie Robinson, and Marty Robinson (Joan); best friend, Pam DeWeese; and several great-nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, with the Rev. Mike Woodard officiating.
