Lena Martha Ray

Lena Ray, 90, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Asheville Health Care. A native of Madison County, she resided in Buncombe County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late John Calvin Hensley and Delila Mae McPeters Hensley. She was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Bruce Ray, and 6 brothers and sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Firby Price and husband Bruce of Asheville; son, David Ray and wife Gail of Swannanoa; grandchildren: Todd Price and wife Arlene, Angela Anders and husband Wendle, and Steven Wolfe; and great grandchildren: Austin Whitley, Courtney Whitley, Hannah Anders, and Matthew Anders. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Skyview Memorial Park, with the Rev. Ken Sausedo and Pastor Randy Stone officiating. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the Ray family.
