Larry Ronnie West

Larry Ronnie West, 67, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Pardee Hospital. Larry was a native and life long resident of Western North Carolina and was a son of the late Ronnie Larry West and Eithel Lillian Meece OKelly. Larry enjoyed life, everything outdoors, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a good husband, father, and grandfather who always encouraged his family to look to the brighter side of life. He is survived by his wife, Betty West; son, Jeff West and wife Cindy of Graniteville, SC; grandchildren: Brannon West, Landon West, Harrison West, Isabella West, and Camdon West; sister, Marilyn Taylor and husband Twig of Savannah, GA; brother, Kim OKelly and wife Allison of Mills River; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, January 22, 2017 in the Chapel at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Rash and Rev. Donnie Walker officiating. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to services on Sunday at the church. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the West family.
