Larry Harvey "Red" Gregory Jr.

Fairview - Larry Harvey Gregory, Jr., 24, of 657 Garren Creek Rd., died unexpectedly Tuesday December 20, 2005 at Memorial Mission Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald Vance Gregory. Surviving are his mother, Sharon White Rockwell; father and step mother, Larry Harvey Gregory, Sr. and Linda Gregory; fiance, Amanda Burris; paternal grandmother, Fannie Mae Gregory; maternal grandparents, Carroll and Nan White; brothers, Scotty Lee Gregory, Jacob Tanner Gregory, Austin Rockwell and Dylan Rockwell; his sister, Lisa Rathel; 5 aunts, 3 uncles and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Whitted officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
