Kevin Roberts

Asheville - Kevin Daniel Roberts, 17, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. He was a Junior at Asheville High School, a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and sang with The Next Generation. He was preceded in death by his PawPaw Henry Helms. Surviving are his mother, Jennifer Elaine Roberts Raines and step father, Steven Matthew Raines; brothers, Michael and Zachary Rice; paternal grandfather, Carl Steven Roberts; maternal grandmother, Patricia Helms; maternal great grandmothers, Geri Helms and Hassie Lundy; several uncles, aunts and many cousins. He was loved by all. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Fellowship Baptist Church with Revs. Zane Edmonds and Willard Norton officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
