Kevin Richard Smith

Asheville Kevin Richard Smith, 22, of Asheville, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile wreck. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Kevin was the son of Terry Smith and Debbie Shook, both of Asheville. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Roy Smith. He attended Freedom Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, surviving are his brother, John Smith; paternal grandmother, Bea Smith; maternal grandmother, Betty Musse; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Keith Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow in Western Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
