Kay Rogers

May 22, 1950 — September 9, 2016

Asheville - Kay Clark Rogers, 66, passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mrs. Rogers retired from Square D as a line operator, and attended Zion Hill Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late David and Lena Laws Clark, and was also preceded in death by a sister, Jean McCoy, and brothers: Wayne and W.B. Clark. Surviving are her husband, Andrew E. Davis; step-son, Brian Davis and wife Aleica; granddaughters: Mallory and Savannah Davis; sisters: Elaine Couch and Wanda Hayes; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bobby Smith officiating.
