Katie Rhew

Asheville - Loresi Kay Katie Rhew, 52, of Asheville, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mrs. Rhew worked as a Customer Service Representative with WastePro, and was a member of Abernethy United Methodist Church. Mrs. Rhew was the daughter of Edna Baxter Ruggles of Mountain Home, and the late Kyle Conard. In addition to her mother, surviving are her husband of 21 years, Jonathan Rhew; sister, Barty, and brother, Tim Conard. The family will receive friends from 3:00 5:00 PM Wednesday, February 11 at Abernethy United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for GBM cancer research may be made to the National Foundation for Cancer Research, 4600 East West Highway, Suite 525, Bethesda, MD, 20814.
