Kathleen M. Proctor

ASHEVILLE Kathleen Elizabeth Maxwell Proctor, 87, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Aston Park Health Care Center. Mrs. Proctor was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was the daughter of the late William Albert Maxwell and Sarah Anna Moore Maxwell and the wife of Charles Edward Proctor who passed away December 26, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Albert Richard Maxwell. She was a former secretary with the State of NC Commission for the Blind and retired as Executive Secretary in the Finance Department for the City of Asheville. She was a life long member of Merrimon Avenue Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held 2 PM Friday at Pisgah View Memorial Park with the Pastor Daniel Dockery officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Aston Park Health Care Center, 380 Brevard Road, Asheville, NC 28806.
