Karren Rose Ebernickel

Candler - Karren Rose Hursh Ebernickel, 55, passed away Saturday January 23, 2010 at the Memorial Campus. A native of Chico, CA, she had lived in Buncombe County for the past 40 years. She attended Asheville High School and was a member of Mt. Moriah Wesleyan Church. She was a daughter of Nora Purdy of CA and the late Samuel Hursh. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband: Ernest Glenn Ebernickel of the home; son, Will Lawrence of Asheville; daughter, Cynthia Lawrence of Candler; Step Children, Donna and John Hannah and April Walker 9 grandchildren; sister, Ruth Peak of CA and brothers, Sam Hursh of Winston-Salem and Dennis Hursh of CA. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Revs. Jim Mortez and Perry Hinez officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the funeral home.
