On May 5th, 2019, Karen Freeman Ale went home to be with her Heavenly Father after a short battle with cancer. Karen was born on February 28th, 1967 in Washington State and moved as a young child, with her family, to Leicester, NC where she spent her childhood and adolescence. She was a 1985 graduate of Clyde A. Erwin High School. Karen married and moved with her husband to Elmer, NJ where they built their lives and raised their children together. She worked for 30 years as a Patients Relations Advocate for Inspira Health Center where her love for people allowed her to naturally assist those in her care with compassion and kindness. In her free time, Karen loved being with her family and spending time with their boating friends at Great Oaks Country Club & Marina, (F Dock). She always looked forward to coming back home to the mountains of WNC to visit family and friends, especially on Holidays. Karen is survived by her Husband of 34 years, Troy Ale, children, Nathan (Kelly) and Seth Ale. Two grandson's Landon and Anderson who called her Oma and were the love's of her life. She is also survived by her Parents, David & Mary Freeman and four siblings, Dwight (Tammie), Sherrie (Jr), Randy (Myra), Mike (Debbie), many nieces and nephews, all of Leicester, NC.
