Julia Foster Norton

Asheville – Julia Foster Norton, 82, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 11, 2024, at the Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation Center.

A native of High Point, she loved her family, gardening and growing vegetables, and loved all kinds of flowers.

She was the daughter of the late James Manuel Foster and Mary Geneva McAllister Foster. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Cathy Galloway.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, Roy Eugene Norton; children: Cindy Norton, and Tim Norton and wife Holly; grandchildren: Stefanie Norton, Samantha Norton, Cody Norton, and Seth Peed; great grandchildren: Honor Sophia Norton, Fallon Walker, and Ledger Walker; brother, Danny Foster and wife Vickie; nieces, Kelly and Morgan Foster; and nephew, Chris Thomas.

Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with Tim Warren officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 till 7 PM Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
