Judy Coleman Edwards

Judy Ann Coleman Edwards, 72, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Buncombe County, she retired in 2010 from Harris Teeter following 18 years of service, was a 1963 graduate of Erwin High School and attended Skyland Baptist Church. She faced many trials courageously in life, but she enjoyed life. Ms. Edwards was a daughter of the late Grady C. Coleman and Juanita Lucille Todd Coleman. She was also preceded in death by the father of her children, James Edwards. Surviving are her children, Tracy Edwards of Candler, Angie Gosnell of Asheville and Sonny Edwards of Mars Hill; grandchildren, Cory Adams, Logan Gosnell and Tanner Merrell; sisters, Sandra Gosnell and husband Jimmy of Fayetteville, GA and Pat Honeycutt and husband David of Candler; brothers, Mike Coleman and wife Susan of Asheville and Rick Coleman of Old Fort; special aunt, Christine Mashburn; five nieces; two nephews and family friend, Doug Benson. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Skyland Baptist Church, 2115 Hendersonville Rd, Arden, NC. Burial will be at Green Hills Cemetery at a later date.
