Leicester – Joseph “Joe” Glen Clement, 59, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 27, 2021, at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Momma and Daddy Dill. Joe was a Master Carpenter, having worked in the construction industry for himself for more than 30 years. Surviving are his wife, Traci Sherlin Clement; children: Patrick Allen Flynn of Fletcher, Delilah Barnette and husband David of Stony Point, Freyja Calvert and husband Kyle of Hendersonville, Jordan Wilson of Asheville, and Trista Stamey of Greeneville, TN; mother of Patrick and Delilah, Debra Hyatt of Burnsville; grandchildren: Ella Flynn, Ruby Flynn, Nash Flynn, Mapel Flynn, Zackary Hooper, Johnathon Flynn, Tristan Massingale, Makayla Massingale, and Phoenix “Joseph” Zabot; special friends and family: Jerri Wilson of Leicester, Sandy Knight of Leicester, and Debra Kuykendall of Alexander; sisters: Wanda Burell of Missouri, and Carolyn Mashburn of Asheville; brother, Frank Dibiasi of North Miami Gardens, FL; and by many extended family and friends. A memorial service will held at 3 PM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Foster Creek Baptist Church, 10710 Big Laurel Road, Marshall, NC 28753. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses, in care of: Anders-Rice Funeral Home, 1428 Patton Avenue, Asheville, NC 28806.
