John Ingle

Candler - John Ingle, 74, passed away Sunday October 2, 2011 at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Purn and Mary Etta King Ingle and was also preceded in death by his first wife, Connie Sharp Ingle and a son, Jimmy Ingle. Surviving are his wife, Osie Elizabeth Hughes Ingle of the home; daughters, Phyllis Stewart of Asheville, Diane Lawrence of Asheville, Diane Ingle of Candler, Sheila Miller of Asheville and Kristina Foster of Weaverville; sons, Roger Monteith of Asheville and John Daniel Payne of Haywood Co.; 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Revs. Powell Young and Willard Pruitt officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
