Jo Ann Cole

Asheville Jo Ann Conger Cole, 79, of 67 Mountainbrook Road passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2008. A native of Morristown, Tennessee. She had resided in Asheville since her retirement in 1986 from the Franklin Social Security Office and was a member of West Asheville Baptist Church. While residing in Franklin, she cared for many Foster Children and was an avid lover of animals. She was the daughter of the late James Ben Conger and Ernestine Newport Conger and was also preceded in death by a brother, Bob Conger and a sister-in-law, Claudia Mae Conger. Surviving are her brother, James Ben Conger & wife, Marjorie and sister-in-law, Shirley Conger all of Asheville and several nieces and nephews.
