Jimmy Eugene Schultz

Asheville – Jimmy Schultz, 58, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 1, 2024, at his residence.

A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of George Eugene Schultz and Patricia Ann McAbee. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Schultz, and a sister, Darria Praytor.

Jimmy loved the Lord and enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons: Justin Rice, and Kyle Schultz; grandchildren: Kyndall Rice, and Tristen Rice; brother, Michael Schultz; sisters: Joy Schultz, and Crystal Schultz and husband Roy Massey; beloved dog, Buddy; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A service to celebrate Jimmy’s life will be held at Spirit Life Church at a later date.
