Jessie R. Green

Asheville Jessie Mae Robinson Green, 89, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Robin Johnson House Hospice Center in Dallas, NC. A native of Madison County, she had resided in Buncombe County for most of her life, and retired in 1991 following 20 years of service with Andrex, Inc. She attended Woodfin Church of God Worship Center. Mrs. Green was a daughter of the late Ralph John Robinson, Sr. and Annie Mae Ramsey Robinson Moore. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, R.J. Robinson, Jr., Clarence Hollifield, John L. Robinson and Boyd Robinson and sister, Lois Ann Robinson. Surviving are her sons, Larry Rash (Diane) of Rock Hill, SC and David Rash (Karen) of Gastonia; sister, Mary Elizabeth Williams of Asheville; grandchildren, Jeff Rash, Kary Rash, Bonnie Rash Owens, Jeremy Rash, Ashley Westmorland and Justin Vollmer and 9 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM Saturday, June 17, 2017 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev.
