Jeannette Hudson

Hendersonville - Jeannette Marie Bigeau Hudson, known affectionately as Little Mama, 79, of 1731 Haywood Road went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the Elizabeth House. A native of Leominster, MA. She had resided in Shelby from 1978 to 1999, then moved to Chimney Rock where she resided with her daughter until moving to Hendersonville in October 2009. She was a homemaker and attended Bat Cave Baptist Church. Mrs. Hudson was the daughter of the late Philip Bigeau and Yvonne Cormier Bigeau and wife of Donald Eugene Hudson who died in 1999. Surviving are her daughters, Debi Godin and husband Gary with whom she made her home, Tami Ducharme and husband John of Leominster, MA; sons, Ronnie Hudson and wife Debra Lee of Fitchburg, MA, Raymond Hudson and wife Julie of Ellenboro, Bobby Hudson of Lake Lure; 9 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 3 P.M. Tuesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. David MacEachern officiating. The family will receive friends following services. A private burial will be held at a later date in Sunset Cemetery, Shelby. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
