James Roy King

James King, 56, of Johnson City, TN, formerly of Asheville, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011 at John F. Keever , Jr. Hospice. He was a native of Buncombe County and was a veteran of the US Navy. Mr. King was the son of the late Harold Lee and Eunice Wyatt King. He was also preceded in death by sisters: Sarah Plemmons and Ruby Gentry and brothers, Boyce and David King. Surviving are his sisters, Barbara DeAngelis, Faye Mathews, Mary Sawyer and Ann Wyatt and several nieces and nephews Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marjorie Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
