James Gosnell

Candler James Edward Gosnell, 77, of 4 Breezy Pine Lane went to be with his Lord Friday, December 22, 2017. He was a son of the late Pender Henderson Gosnell and Jessie Jones Gosnell. Mr. Gosnell was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County, served as an Electrician and a longtime member of over 50 years at Stoney Fork Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Geraldine Geri Rathbone Gosnell; children, Jeffery Allen Gosnell (Teresa), Susan Gosnell Raines (Robert) and Scott Edward Gosnell; grandchildren, Tiffany Gosnell Fisher (Justin), Gregory Alton Gosnell, Shelby Morgan Gosnell and Haley Nicole Gosnell; great grandson, Kainen James Fisher; sisters, Barbara McKee (Lon) and Wanda Stewart; several nieces and nephews and special aunt, Mary Gosnell. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Stoney Fork Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Massey officiating. Burial will be in Rathbone Hill Family Cemetery.
