Asheville - Jack Lee Ingle, 65, of 13 Pine Tree Road, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County where he was a Building Contractor. Mr. Ingle was a 1959 graduate of Lee H. Edwards High School where he was an All State Football Star. He then attended Mars Hill College where he was an athlete and football player. Mr. Ingle was the son of the late Hillery Julius and Elouise McHone Ingle. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Ingle. Survivng are his wife, Dorothy Dot Sutton Ingle of the home; a son, Jeffery L. Ingle of Spruce Pine; a grandson, Benjamin Ingle; two sisters: Mildred Powell of Fletcher and Barbara Carroll of Steinhatchee, FL; and three brothers: Donald Ingle of Lake Wylie, SC, Harry Ingle of Fairhope, AL, and his twin brother Jerry Ingle of Robbinsville. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday in the Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Bill Ressler officiating. Pallbearers will be Tommy Plemmons, Gary Scott, Paul West, Ronnie McHone and Larry McHone. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ones favorite charity.
