Jack Brunner

Leicester Garnet Jackson Jack Brunner, 58, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Wytheville, VA, he had resided in Asheville since 1975. Mr. Brunner retired as a route salesman for Sunbeam Bakery in 2010. He was a son of Cecil Marguerite Hilton Brunner of Wytheville, VA and the late Paul C. Brunner and was also preceded in death by a sister, Cecil Marie Brunner. Surviving in addition to his mother are his daughter, Amanda Brunner of Waynesville; sisters, Darlene Ward (Dan), Mary Gravley (Richard) all of Rural Retreat, VA and Wanda Fowler and Kathy Keith both of Wytheville, VA and brothers, Paul C. Brunner, Jr. (Donna) and Robert L. Brunner (Pattie) all of Wytheville, VA. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. John T. Tiller officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
