Irma Rudisill

Candler Irma Jean Dayton Rudisill, 73, of 157 Oak Hill Road, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a long time employee with the WNC Mountain State Fair-Vendor Coordination, was formerly employed with Dr. John G. Kerr and J.C. Pennys and was a member of West Asheville Baptist Church for over 60 years and was a member of the Fishers of Men Sunday School Class. Mrs. Rudisill was the daughter of the late Glenn John Dayton and Elizabeth Bruce Dayton. Surviving are her husband whom she married December 5, 1959, Edward Buddy Rudisill, Jr. of the home; sons, Glenn Edward Eddie Rudisill and wife, Morgan and Donald Thomas Don Rudisill and wife, Jennifer all of Candler; grandchildren, Laurel, Gracie, Allison and Bryce; brother, Don Dayton and wife, Carolyn of Fletcher; niece, Amy Dayton and nephew, Rob Dayton and wife, Kimberley and their daughter, Channing. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 29, 2014 at West Asheville Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Stan Welch officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah View Memorial Park.
