Irene Hunter

Asheville - Irene Hunter, 74, of 118 Maple Dr. Apt. 1-B died Thursday August 16, 2001 at her residence. A life long resident of Buncombe County. She was retired from the National Climatic Center and was a member of Central United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary K. Hunter. Surviving are her sisters, Harriett Snelson and husband, Larry of Asheville and Mary Coone of Belvedere, SC; five nephews, one great niece and one great nephew.
