Imojean Brookshire "Jean" Moody

ASHEVILLE Imojean Jean Brookshire Moody, 89, formerly of 31 Baker Ave., died Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at Madison Manor Health Care. A native of Haywood County. She was a resident of Buncombe County most of her life. Mrs. Moody was a daughter of the late Henry and Essie Brooks Brookshire and wife of William Arthur Moody. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Bonnie Huff, Augusta Hyatt and Gracie Brookshire and brothers, Robert, Roy and Horace Brookshire. Surviving are her step son, William Arthur Moody, Jr. and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Entombment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services.
