Ida Kfefel

Asheville - Ida Kfefel, 98, of 25 Reynolds Mountain Road, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 at Emerald Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Kfefel had resided most of her life in New York City, and had resided for the past 26 years in Madison and Buncombe Counties. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rosina Faciana Lovullo, and the wife of the late Benjamin Kfefel. Surviving are her daughters: Barbara Sylvester of Cornelius, NC and Maureen Kfefel of Marshall; two grandchildren: Rebekah Sylvester and Enoch Sylvester; one great-grandson on the way; sisters: Rose Gibson of Florida and Louise Molnar of New York; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Friday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with Father Ed Sheridan officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 PM Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
