Howard Bruce Watkins

Asheville – Howard Bruce Watkins, 73, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 6, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Salisbury on February 21, 1946. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Adelia Watkins and wife, Ollie Watkins who died January 16, 2017. Surviving are his children: Angie Covan and husband Mike of Asheville, and Alicia Feuerborn and husband Philip of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren: Ryan and Addison; sister, Connie Gibson of Asheville, and brothers: Michael Watkins and wife Evelyn of Weaverville and James Watkins and wife Libby of Asheville. Private graveside services will be held at Green Hills Cemetery on Monday, January 13, 2020.
