Helen Williams Knighten

Helen Knighten, 81, passed on to her heavenly home on Thursday, August 9, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Denton Williams. She was also preceded in death by her grandchildren: Theodore and Krystle Knighten; and a brother, Jack Williams. She was a graduate of the Emma High School class of 1954, and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Surviving are her 5 children and their families who she cherished and loved with all her heart. Sons: Gary Lynn (Lisa), Alan (Mary), and Phillip; daughters: Pamela Sturgill (her special caregiver), and Sue Knighten; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; brothers: Leon Williams (Nancy), and J.D. Williams (Doris); sisters: Kathryn Jones (Clyde), and Marsha Honeycutt (Pete); sister-in-law, Christine Williams; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday, August 13, 2018 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Pastor Bobby Winebarger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 till 8 PM Sunday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Mt.
