Helen P. Deboalt

Asheville Mrs. Helen Parsons DeBoalt went to be with her Lord Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Givens Health Center. Mrs. DeBoalt was born in 1908 in Dannemora, NY, the daughter of the late Letitia and William Parsons. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frederick DeBoalt; sons, Richard DeBoalt, Daniel DeBoalt and David DeBoalt; son-in-law, Jack Lang and daughter-in-law, Sylvia DeBoalt. She and her family lived in numerous locations with her husbands career with ALCOA: Massena, NY, Hot Springs, AK, Wenatchee, WA, Pittsburgh, PA, Evansville, IN and Badin, NC. She was a homemaker, member of the DAR and a lifelong member of the Methodist church. Mrs. DeBoalt is survived by her sister, Anne Corl of St. Louis, MO; daughter, Barbara Lang of Asheville; daughter-in-law, Anne DeBoalt of Harvard, MA; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held 2 PM Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Fairview Memorial Park, Albemarle. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting with her arrangements.
