Harold Lloyd Ledford

Candler - Harold Lloyd Ledford, 71, of 37 Holly Ridge Road died Friday September 19, 2008 at his residence after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was the son of the late Henry Edward and Nelly Mary Brown Ledford and the husband of the late Rose Mathis Ledford. Surviving are his daughters, Kathy Swanger of Mars Hill, Betty Brackett of Candler, Mary Grant of Shelby and Brenda Nolan of Old Fort; sons, Donald Ledford of Arden, Jerry Ledford of Candler and Danny Ledford of Hendersonville; sister, Jenavie of FL; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Rolf Woodard officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
