Asheville - Harold B. Lutz, 79, of 330 Donnybrook Drive, died Saturday April 19, 2003 at Magnolia Health Care Center. A native of Chicago, IL. He had resided in Buncombe County for the past 18 years. He was an instrumental music teacher in Corpus Christi, TX and Salinas, CA. and an U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a son of the late John George and Katharine Brigelius Lutz. He was also preceded in death by brothers Jack and Edward Lutz. Surviving are his wife, Jean Koppisch Lutz of the home; daughters, Kathy Lutz Penland and husband, Bob, Mary Jean Taboloff and Barbara Lutz all of Asheville and Margaret Fagg and husband, Kyle of Wenatchee, WA; grandchildren, Jeffery Taboloff, Cassidy Fagg and Kevin Fagg; brother, Ralph Lutz and wife, Carol of Corpus Christi, TX. Memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Harding officiating.
